LinkedIn Profile Rental Terms & Conditions

By selecting "I Agree", the Account Holder confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions governing the rental of their LinkedIn profile to LinkProfiles (the "Company").

1. Account Ownership & Eligibility

  • The Account Holder confirms that they are the lawful owner of the LinkedIn account being provided.
  • The Account Holder confirms that all information provided regarding their LinkedIn profile is accurate and truthful.
  • The Account Holder's LinkedIn profile must continue to meet the Company's minimum eligibility requirements, including but not limited to profile age, connection count, account health, verification status (where applicable), and any additional criteria communicated by the Company.

2. Permitted Use of the Account

  • The Account Holder's LinkedIn account will be used exclusively for lawful business networking, client outreach, lead generation, and professional relationship-building.
  • The Company will not intentionally use the account for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, unethical, or prohibited activities.
  • The Company will not intentionally target or contact the Account Holder's existing 1st-degree LinkedIn connections as part of its outreach activities.

3. Exclusive Use During the Rental Period

  • The Account Holder grants the Company exclusive use of their LinkedIn account during the rental period.
  • During the rental period, the Account Holder agrees not to access, log into, message from, post on, modify, or otherwise use the account unless specifically instructed or authorized by the Company.
  • The Account Holder agrees not to send connection requests, respond to messages, run outreach campaigns, change profile settings, or make any profile edits without prior approval from the Company.
  • The Account Holder understands that unauthorized activity may negatively affect account performance and safety.

4. Credentials & Access

  • The Company may update account credentials, passwords, recovery information, security settings, cookies, browser sessions, or other login methods necessary to securely manage the account.
  • The Account Holder acknowledges that they may temporarily lose direct access to the account during the rental period.
  • The Account Holder agrees not to attempt to recover, reset, reclaim, or otherwise interfere with the Company's authorized access during the rental period.
  • Any attempt to regain unauthorized access may result in immediate termination of this agreement and forfeiture of unpaid compensation.
  • The Account Holder agrees to maintain ownership and access to the email address and phone number associated with their LinkedIn account unless otherwise instructed by the Company.
  • The Account Holder agrees to notify the Company immediately if their email address, phone number, or account recovery information changes.
  • The Account Holder agrees to cooperate whenever verification codes or login assistance are required.

5. Profile Modifications

  • During the rental period, certain profile elements may be updated for business purposes, including but not limited to:
    • Profile headline
    • About section
    • Experience
    • Featured content
    • Profile photo
    • Banner image
    • Skills
    • Contact information
    • Privacy settings
    • Connection strategy
  • The Account Holder's legal identity and ownership of the LinkedIn account will remain unchanged.

6. Verification & Account Security

  • LinkedIn may occasionally request identity verification, security confirmation, or temporarily restrict accounts involved in outreach activities despite reasonable efforts to operate safely.
  • The Account Holder confirms that they possess, or can obtain if required, the original government-issued identification or other documentation needed to complete LinkedIn verification.
  • The Account Holder agrees to fully cooperate with any account recovery, verification request, identity confirmation, or security challenge.
  • The Account Holder agrees to complete any requested verification within 24–36 hours of being notified by the Company.
  • Failure to cooperate within the required timeframe may result in rental payments being temporarily suspended until the issue is resolved.

7. Profile Rent Agreement

  • The profile rental amount will be determined at the time of onboarding and will remain fixed thereafter.
  • Any changes to the agreed rental amount will only be made at the sole discretion of the Company under exceptional circumstances.

8. Payment Terms

  • The initial rental payment will be made at the time of onboarding once the profile is selected.
  • Subsequent payments will commence only from the point at which the Company begins utilising the profile.
  • The Account Holder will receive the agreed rental payment according to the payment schedule communicated by the Company.
  • Whether payment is guaranteed for a fixed period or is payable only while the account remains actively utilized is separately agreed between the Account Holder and the Company.
  • Payments may be paused if the account becomes unavailable due to the Account Holder's failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
  • Account value and rental compensation may be reviewed periodically based on factors such as account quality, connection count, engagement, account performance, and market demand.
  • The Company may offer future payment increases based on agreed milestones (for example, connection growth or profile quality improvements), but such increases are not guaranteed unless confirmed by the Company.

9. Term & Termination

  • This agreement continues on a month-to-month basis unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • If a minimum commitment period has been agreed (for example, 6 months or 12 months), the Account Holder agrees to honor that commitment unless otherwise approved by the Company.
  • If the Account Holder wishes to terminate this arrangement and regain use of their LinkedIn account, they agree to provide at least 30 days' written notice (or any other agreed notice period).
  • Upon completion of the notice period, the Company will cease activity on the account and return control to the Account Holder.
  • The Company may terminate this agreement immediately if the Account Holder breaches these Terms & Conditions.

10. Confidentiality

  • The Account Holder agrees to keep confidential all information relating to the Company's business operations, clients, systems, software, outreach methods, strategies, and any non-public information they may become aware of during the rental arrangement.

11. Risk Acknowledgement

  • While the Company operates using industry best practices, LinkedIn ultimately controls its own platform and policies.
  • There is a possibility that LinkedIn may impose temporary restrictions, verification requests, or other account limitations beyond the Company's control.
  • The Account Holder accepts these risks as part of participating in this rental arrangement.

12. Entire Agreement

  • The Account Holder confirms that they have had the opportunity to ask questions about this arrangement before accepting these Terms & Conditions.
  • This document represents the entire agreement between the Account Holder and the Company regarding the rental of the LinkedIn account unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • The Account Holder acknowledges that they have had the opportunity to seek independent legal advice before agreeing to these Terms & Conditions.
